2022 U.S. Women's Mid-Amateur Qualifying - Walpole CC

Practice Rounds: Please contact the Walpole CC golf shop in advance to schedule your practice round. Competitors should arrive no earlier than 30 minutes ahead of the scheduled practice round starting time. Competitors will be permitted to use the practice range ahead of their practice round. Practice rounds are available on the dates/times listed below: 

 

Wednesday, August 10th                  3:00-4:00PM

Thursday, August 11th                      3:00-4:00PM

Saturday, August 20th                      3:20-4:00PM

 

Starting Times:  Play will begin at 12:45pm off the 1st tee. When available, see the "Starting Times" tab above to view the pairings and starting times. 

 

Withdrawals:  Please advise the Mass Golf office immediately by e-mailing ghowell@massgolf.org if you are unable to compete. Failure to advise the Mass Golf office may disqualify the player from future USGA competition. 

 

Qualifying & Alternate Spots Available: 4 Qualifying Spots and 2 Alternate Spots. Qualifying players will advance to the U.S Women's.Mid-Amateur Championship at Fiddlesticks CC (Fort Meyers, FL). 

 

Distance Devices:  The use of distance measuring devices is permitted.

 

Automotive Transportation: The use of automotive transportation is prohibited. 

 

Caddies & Push Carts: Players are permitted to employ a caddy and/or use a push cart.  

 

Golf Ball:  The One-Ball Rule will be in effect.  See Appendix I of the Rules of Golf.

 

Competition Tees/ Yardage: Competition Tees & Yardage are approximate and subject to change. Players playing a practice round should play the GOLD tee markers. The competition will be played from approximately 5,900 yards - Par 71. 

 

Golf Shop, Locker Room and Practice Facilities: The practice facilities will be open and available at 7:00am. 

 

Food & Beverage: Food & Beverage details will be provided prior to the qualifier. 

 

Dress Code:  Please observe the USGA dress code as stated in the application. 

 

*Please also review the 2022 USGA Hard Card and other policies located under the tab labeled "USGA Policies" prior to competition.

 

*There will be no registration on the day of the event - please report to your scheduled starting hole to receive local rules, scorecard, etc. 10 minutes prior to your starting time.
